We just wanted to let you know that the call for applications for the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) program, financed by the European Union, is ongoing.
The COST program aims to provide networking opportunities for researchers and innovators to strengthen Europe’s capacity to address scientific, technological and societal challenges. There are three strategic priorities:
- promotion and dissemination of best practices;
- promotion of interdisciplinary research for the advancement of science;
- expanding opportunities to encourage young researchers.
The competition supports the following scientific fields: biomedicine and molecular biosciences; chemistry, molecular sciences and technologies; Earth system and environmental protection measures; food and agriculture; forestry, its products and services; individual, society, culture and health; information and communication technologies; materials, physics and nanosciences; transport and urban planning; interdisciplinary research/projects.
All applications are submitted electronically through the e-COST online application tool. Applicants will be able to submit their proposals in English until the announced deadline. The duration of the project is 4 years.
For whom: all scientists.
Budget: €125,000 for the project’s first year and an average of €150,000 for each subsequent year.
Deadline: October 23, 2024 (12:00 CEST).
