Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine: Up to €90,000 for Small Cross-Border Projects in Culture, Education, and Social Inclusion

Organizations from Ukraine and Poland can now apply for funding of up to €90,000 for joint cross-border initiatives. If you work in culture, education, or community engagement — this opportunity is for you. The new call under Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine 2021–2027, Priority “Cooperation” (building mutual trust), supports small-scale projects that strengthen connections in border regions. The call is managed by Stowarzyszenie Euroregionu Karpackiego w Rzeszowie, with a total budget of €2 million.

Who can apply for Interreg NEXT

Applicants may include:

  • National, regional, or local authorities

  • Schools and higher education institutions

  • Cultural and educational institutions

  • NGOs, rescue services, and inclusion-focused organizations

  • Institutions working with migrants or persons with disabilities

Eligible applicants may come from either Ukraine or Poland, but all projects must be cross-border and involve at least one partner from each country.

What’s funded

Grants are available for:

  • Cross-border cultural, artistic, and educational initiatives

  • Integration activities for youth, children, and vulnerable groups

  • Support for cultural and educational institutions (including Ukrainian ones)

  • Development of joint educational or awareness-raising programs

  • Trainings, exchanges, seminars, exhibitions, and local campaigns

  • Educational and healthcare-related innovation projects
