Ukrainian startups with global ambitions can now take advantage of a powerful new opportunity. The European Commission has launched a funding program under the EIC, offering grants from €300,000 to €500,000 to boost innovative solutions and connect businesses with the European innovation ecosystem. Program Overview
Building on the success of the Seeds of Bravery project, the EIC created this initiative to strengthen Ukrainian tech companies. It supports deep-tech startups in fields such as cybersecurity, AI and machine learning, robotics, autonomous systems, satellite and space technologies, marine tech, biotechnology, and renewable technologies.
Who Can Apply for European Commission’s Grants
Ukrainian startups and SMEs qualify if they:
- develop innovative technologies, products, or business models that create new markets or expand existing ones
- aim to scale operations and enter new markets
- register in Ukraine, or register in Ukraine and then relocate to an EU or Horizon Europe–associated country after 24 February 2022
- include at least one founder, co-founder, top manager, CTO, CEO, or CSO with Ukrainian citizenship
In addition, the program strongly encourages women-led companies to join.

Participants can receive:
- a grant between €300,000 and €500,000
- access to EIC Business Acceleration Services, including coaching, events, and networking
- entry to the Fast Track to the EIC Accelerator program, which offers larger grants and investments
