📢 The International Visegrad Fund Announces the Visegrad+ Project Call
Supporting innovative initiatives and partnerships between the Visegrad Four countries (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic) and organizations from the Eastern Partnership, including Ukraine, or the Western Balkans.
Key Project Requirements:
- Participation of at least three Visegrad Four countries and one organization from the Eastern Partnership or Western Balkans.
- If two countries from the Eastern Partnership or Western Balkans are involved, two Visegrad Four countries are sufficient.
Priority Areas:
✅ Culture and Common Identity
Support for projects promoting shared history, traditions, and cultural heritage. This includes cultural events, research, exhibitions, and multimedia resources aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue.
✅ Education and Capacity Building
Projects enhancing collaboration among educational and research institutions, including student and faculty exchanges, joint programs, and training to share best practices.
✅ Innovation, Research, and Entrepreneurship
Encouragement for business networks, innovations, and scientific developments. Emphasis on projects supporting startups, developing business clusters, and implementing technological solutions.
✅ Democratic Values and Media
Projects aimed at advancing media literacy, combating disinformation, and supporting independent media. Key focus on critical thinking and resilience to propaganda.
✅ Public Policy and Institutional Partnerships
Initiatives promoting reforms, effective governance, and public engagement in decision-making processes through partnerships between governmental and civic organizations.
✅ Regional Development, Environment, and Tourism
Support for projects addressing climate change adaptation, nature preservation, eco-tourism, and sustainable regional tourism development based on international expertise.
✅ Social Development
Initiatives fostering social inclusion, minority rights protection, healthy lifestyles, and prevention of substance abuse.
Participation Details:
Eligible Applicants: Non-governmental organizations, educational and research institutions, municipalities, and innovative companies (nonprofit projects only).
Project Duration: Up to 18 months.
Budget: Up to €40,000.
Deadline: February 1, 2025.
