Visegrad Fund Grants for Youth: V4 Gen Programme

Visegrad Fund Grants for Youth: V4 Gen Programme

The International Visegrad Fund invites young people to join the V4 Gen programme — an initiative that encourages active cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and at least two countries of the Visegrad Group: Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. This dynamic opportunity helps youth build partnerships, share ideas, and work together on educational, cultural, and social projects that strengthen European unity.

Programme Objective

The V4 Gen programme aims to inspire young people to create projects that promote intercultural understanding, inclusion, and community development. It encourages participants to take the lead, build friendships across borders, and exchange experiences through teamwork and creativity. In addition, it helps develop leadership and communication skills that are essential for modern civic life.

Key Requirements

  • Each project must include participants from Ukraine and at least two Visegrad countries.
  • The applicant organisation should be legally registered in Ukraine.
  • Partners must organise at least one joint event involving all participating teams.
  • Project results need to be shared publicly — in schools, communities, or online.
  • Projects can last up to seven months and may include one or several short-term exchanges.

Who Can Apply

Legal entities from Ukraine and the Visegrad countries that work with young people can apply. This includes schools, universities, youth centres, NGOs, sports associations, and community organisations. Applicants should engage youth aged 12–30 years. Moreover, projects that promote equality, inclusion, and cross-border dialogue will receive special consideration.

Funding

The Fund offers grants of up to €10,000 per project. These funds can support travel, accommodation, event organisation, educational materials, logistics, and communication activities. By combining creativity and teamwork, participants can use this funding to make their initiatives more impactful and sustainable. Furthermore, the programme values projects that create long-term connections between countries and communities.

How to Apply

Applicants can submit their proposals online through the official International Visegrad Fund website. Before submitting, they should review the eligibility rules and ensure that their proposal matches the Fund’s objectives in culture, education, and civic engagement. Successful applicants will demonstrate collaboration, innovation, and clear benefits for youth from different backgrounds.
Deadline: November 15, 2025.
