Ukrainian Youth Foundation announces a grant call “Expanding Youth Participation in Public Life and Strengthening Social Cohesion”

The Ukrainian Youth Foundation (UYF) has announced a new grant call for 2026 under the priority “Expanding Youth Participation in Public Life and Strengthening Social Cohesion”. The call aims to support teams and organisations that work with young people and implement initiatives in the fields of education, volunteering, community development and social integration.

In particular, the competition focuses on projects that encourage active youth participation in community life, support young people returning to Ukraine, and contribute to the development of youth spaces and mobile youth work.

Who can apply

The call is open to organisations and institutions engaged in youth work, including:

  • legal entities implementing youth-focused activities;
  • youth and children’s non-governmental organisations;
  • student and pupil self-governance bodies;
  • youth centres and youth spaces.

Priority project areas

Project proposals may address the following areas:

  • civic and non-formal education;
  • volunteering and youth exchanges;
  • initiatives for community recovery and development;
  • support for young people returning from abroad;
  • development of youth spaces and mobile youth work;
  • capacity building and training for youth workers.

Funding and timeline

Grant size: from UAH 75,000 to UAH 500,000;

Co-financing: possible, starting from 15%;

Application opening date: 3 February 2026;

Application deadline: 20 March 2026.
