The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation has announced a call under the Flagship Events programme. The programme supports large-scale cultural initiatives with strong public resonance. It targets projects that engage sizeable audiences and participant communities, highlight key values of Ukrainian culture, and contribute to social unity and mental resilience.
The call supports projects that work with national identity, cultural heritage, and contemporary cultural production. In addition, the programme encourages partnerships in the cultural sector and strengthens the visibility of cultural events across different regions of Ukraine.
Programme purpose
The purpose of the Flagship Events programme is to support projects with broad public resonance. Such initiatives should consolidate society, promote Ukrainian culture, and contribute to mental recovery amid ongoing challenges.
What the programme supports
Projects under the programme should align with at least one of the following directions:
- strengthening national identity and unity;
- supporting mental recovery of society;
- promoting cultural heritage and contemporary cultural production;
- developing partnerships in the cultural sector.
Programme lots
The call includes two lots with different financial parameters and co-funding requirements.
LOT 1. Large-scale cultural projects
Total lot budget: UAH 35 million;
Minimum grant amount: UAH 3 million;
Maximum grant amount: UAH 10 million;
Co-funding: at least 30% of the project budget.
LOT 2. Landmark dates and personalities
Total lot budget: UAH 24 million;
Minimum grant amount: UAH 1 million;
Maximum grant amount: UAH 3 million;
Co-funding: at least 20% of the project budget.
Programme funding
Total programme budget for Flagship Events: UAH 59 million.
Key dates
Application period: 22 December 2025 – 22 February 2026 (until 18:00 Kyiv time);
Project implementation: from the grant agreement signature date (but not earlier than 1 June 2026) until 30 October 2026.
