About the programme

A 10-week intensive management programme for leaders of regional and national media and CSOs engaged in investigative journalism, anti-corruption work, advocacy, and civic reporting. The cohort theme is “How I Lead: a leader who changes systems and drives organisational maturity”. Three thematic blocks cover leadership and management, strategic financial management, and marketing and communications. The programme runs in a hybrid format combining online and offline sessions, workshops, case studies, simulations, and individual mentoring sessions with Jnomics consultants.

Requirements and dates

Competitive selection, up to 20 participants. Requirements: at least 5 direct reports and responsibility for strategic areas of the organisation. Programme dates: 26 May to 2 August 2026 (offline sessions: 12–14 June and 30 July to 2 August).

2. Translating Ukraine Residency, Poland (House of Europe roundup)

The first Translating Ukraine residency takes place at Wojnowice Castle near Wroclaw, within the KEW Archipelagos fellowship programme. Up to 4 translators can participate for 3–6 weeks between July and September 2026. The programme covers return travel, accommodation, full board, and a stipend of $250–500 depending on the duration. Priority goes to those working on literary or academic translations at a late stage of completion. Required documents: CV, letter of interest, and two letters of recommendation.

4. European Solidarity Residency, for Curators and Cultural Professionals

5. Vila 31 x Art Explora Residency, Tirana, Albania (€800/month + up to €1,500 production grant)

What the residency offers

A 3-month residency at Villa 31 x Art Explora in Tirana in 2027, with three sessions: January–March, May–July, and September–November. Two formats are available: SOLO for artists and writers, and COLLECTIVE for duos and groups. Each resident receives a fully equipped studio apartment of 50–60 m², a monthly living grant of €800 (up to €1,200 for collectives), a production grant of up to €1,500, a round-trip travel grant, and access to production facilities and local networks. No mandatory output is required at the end, though participation in Open Studios is compulsory.

Selection and themes

Up to 30 residents per year. The jury includes curators from Centre Pompidou, the director of the National Gallery of Albania, the director of SAM Swiss Architecture Museum, and others. Supported disciplines: visual art, performance, digital art, curatorial and literary practices. Research areas: humanities, sociology, cultural studies, technological innovation, and ecology.

6. Czech Literary Centre: Translation Grants for Czech Literature (up to 70% of costs)

Annual grants supporting the publication of Czech prose, poetry, drama, essays, comics, and children’s literature abroad. The grant can cover up to 70% of total publication costs: translation up to 50%, design, layout and printing up to 50%, copyright fees up to 15%, and promotion up to 25%. Publishers and translators can additionally apply for funding to translate an excerpt of 10–25 standard pages. Journals can receive funding for an issue if at least 50% of the content is devoted to original Czech literature.

7. Mon-art / Monastery of Art: Artist Residency on Industrial Heritage, Parma, Italy (€6,000)

Concept and location

The residency takes place in the San Leonardro district of Parma, a former industrial quarter built around the Bormioli factory, which employed 2,400 workers until the 1990s. Today the area occupies a symbolic space between abandonment and future cultural projects. The residency uses art to activate the material and intangible heritage of the neighbourhood and foster new forms of collective identity among residents. Working spaces include public venues and municipal premises in San Leonardino, allocated according to project needs.

Conditions and selection

Up to 2 artists (or a duo). Duration: approximately 6 months, starting between 1 October and 1 December 2026. The €6,000 fee covers transport, accommodation including meals, and recognition of the work during the residency. A production budget of €2,000 is shared between the two participants (~€1,000 each). Accommodation is arranged with local authorities. Selection runs in two stages: shortlist announced 26 May 2026, interviews 6 June, and results by 8 June 2026.

8. Mykolaichuk OPEN 2026: Short Fiction Film Pitching ($2,000)

Organiser: Mykolaichuk OPEN Festival + AMO Pictures  ·  Who can apply: Directors with a finished script, Ukraine as country of production, no more than two feature films in the filmography

The third joint pitch of the festival and AMO Pictures for short fiction films. The best project receives $2,000 towards production. Requirements: runtime up to 30 minutes, fiction genre, Ukraine or co-production, completed script, and film completed by April 2027. Required documents: application form, 3–5 page script excerpt, team CV, condensed budget, provisional shooting schedule, team photo, and working materials. The Ukrainian premiere takes place at the Mykolaichuk OPEN festival. If the film is not made within two years, the funds must be returned.

9. Cavendish Arts Science Fellowship, Girton College, Cambridge, UK (£23,000 total support)

A one-year fellowship in partnership with Girton College Cambridge (October 2026 to October 2027) for an artist who wants to develop their practice in dialogue with physicists and scientists. The package includes a £10,000 living stipend, a £10,000 production budget, a £3,000 travel budget, and free accommodation and meals at Girton College during the Cambridge residency (minimum 6 months). 10. Greenpeace Media ReCamp 2026: Journalism Camp in the Carpathians (House of Europe roundup)

A summer journalism camp in the heart of the Carpathians, running from 29 July to 1 August 2026. Participation is free — Greenpeace covers travel, accommodation, and vegetarian meals. The programme includes talks and discussions on solar, wind, and nuclear energy and biodiversity, networking, a mountain hike, and yoga sessions. 12. Mykolaichuk OPEN 2026: Music Video Competition ($500)

A music video competition within the fifth edition of the Mykolaichuk OPEN Festival in Chernivtsi (13–20 June 2026). Nominated films are announced publicly through social media by 1 June 2026. A professional jury and audience vote select the winner, who receives a statuette and $500.

13. ARTEMIS Project: Music Academy and Residency for Musicians and Vocalists

About the project and 2026 activities

A three-year project running from 2026 to 2028 and funded by Creative Europe, ARTEMIS supports young musicians in developing skills on period instruments, understanding professional ecosystems, and strengthening career competencies. In 2026, the programme focuses on the Mediterranean Hub under the theme “The Mediterranean in Opera (Mozart, Haydn, Rossini)”.

Two activities in 2026

First: a Residency for Vocalists and Pianists (23–28 June 2026, ARTE Music Academy, Nicosia, Cyprus) with conductors Jérôme Correas and Anne Bertin-Hugault. Second: an Orchestral Academy for Instrumentalists and Vocalists (19–25 October 2026, Higher School of Music, Tunis) with Alessandro Moccia and Sandrine Piau. Participants of the Tunis academy may receive the opportunity to join another ARTEMIS academy.

14. Sharjah Art Foundation: Short Film Production Grants (~$30,000 total)

The 9th round of the Sharjah Film Platform short film production grant. The total fund is 120,000 AED (~$30,000), distributed among selected projects according to their individual needs. A free 8-week programme for those who want to test themselves as a co-founder or launch their own business. Objectives and conditions

The “Viability+: Economic Integration of IDPs and War-Affected People” programme supports the restoration of jobs and production capacity. General criteria: registered in Ukraine for at least 1 year, and committed to creating at least 3 new jobs. Priority goes to war-affected or displaced enterprises, businesses led by veterans, women, or youth, and enterprises located in rural areas.

Eligible expenditures

Equipment and tools, premises repair and fit-out, raw materials (up to 50% of the grant). All activities must be completed within 3 months. One application per enterprise. Companies that have previously received IOM grants are not eligible. Feedback is provided only to selected applicants within 3 weeks after the deadline. Three priority directions

First direction: representation and advocacy (priority) — speaking at conferences, participating in EU, UN, and OSCE sessions. The grant covers registration fees, tickets, accommodation, visa fees, and direct travel costs.
