Between 350,000 and 500,000 hryvnias from the Ukrainian government for your own business – with no repayment required. The єRobota “Vlastna Sprava” programme exists and it pays out. But most first-time applicants either don’t know whether they qualify, struggle with the business plan, or freeze up at the financial section. On 11 June in Lviv, civil society organisation ACSI is running a practical intensive training – 2.5 hours where Pavlo Ilchuk (Doctor of Economics, financial expert) breaks down everything from evaluating your idea to preparing for the interview. Attendance is free, but places are limited.
If you’re thinking about starting a business or already have an idea, this is a direct path to understanding whether your business qualifies for the grant and what you need to do to get funded.

What єRobota “Vlastna Sprava” is and what it pays
єRobota is Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy grant programme that provides non-repayable grants to entrepreneurs opening or developing a business.
The “Vlastna Sprava” stream is one of the most accessible: it is designed for beginners and sole proprietors (ФОП) who are just starting out or scaling a small business. The grant covered at this training runs from 350,000 to 500,000 hryvnias. Funds can go toward equipment, materials, premises rental, and other business expenses.
The main obstacle for most applicants is the business plan. That is exactly what AKSI designed this training for: not to walk through conditions, but to work through the whole process.
About the ACSI training
The format is intensive. In 2.5 hours, participants move from understanding the programme to having a complete logic for their application. No theory for theory’s sake: the trainer goes through every section of the application with concrete examples and case studies.
Participants work directly with the official application template. By the end of the final block, everyone has a step-by-step understanding of how to fill in each section, how to justify grant expenses, and what to say at the interview.
Organiser: ACSI (Academic Support for Innovation), Ukrainian civil society organisation.
Date: 11 June 2026, 15:00–18:00.
Format: In-person, Lviv (address provided upon registration).
Attendance: Free, limited places.
Programme: 7 blocks in 2.5 hours
Block 1. How the “Grant for Own Business” programme works
What єRobota is, who can receive a grant, what costs are eligible, how the application process works, and how business plans are evaluated. Plus the most common reasons for rejection – and how to avoid them.
Block 2. Does your business idea qualify for the grant
How to evaluate your idea, what reviewers check, which types of businesses have better odds, and how to frame a competitive advantage. Breakdown of typical early-stage mistakes.
Block 3. Business Model Canvas
Customers and value proposition, sales channels and revenue streams, key resources and costs. How the Canvas becomes the foundation of the business plan in your application.
Block 4. Strategic goals and SWOT analysis
How to identify your business’s strengths, spot risks, set short-term and long-term goals. How SWOT prepares you for the questions you’ll face at the interview.
Block 5. How to fill out the business plan application
A walkthrough of all main sections, the logic behind each one, how to justify grant expenditures, common mistakes, and case-based examples.
Block 6. The financial section without fear
How costs are structured, how to calculate revenues, how to forecast sales, and what financial logic the application actually requires. Common mistakes in financial projections.
Block 7. Preparing for the interview
How the interview runs, the most common questions, how to present your business and explain your numbers, and how to avoid weak answers.
Who this training is for
The training is built for those who have no prior experience writing grant applications but want to receive government funding for their own business.
Specifically: people planning to open a business; future sole proprietors (ФОП); early-stage entrepreneurs; those who are afraid of the business plan or financial section; and those who have heard about єRobota but don’t know where to start.
What you leave with
After 2.5 hours you’ll have: a step-by-step logic for preparing your application, a clear understanding of every section of the business plan, ready-made templates and checklists for working on your own, and a handle on the typical mistakes to avoid.
You’ll also work directly with the official єRobota application template – so after the training you can sit down and start filling it in immediately.
