The European Forest Institute (EFI) launched the G-08-2025 call to support projects that test innovative approaches to monitoring Europe’s forest ecosystems. The initiative focuses on validating and improving methods for analysing forest condition using satellite and field data. In addition, it supports the validation of scripts, models and frameworks, as well as the strengthening of forest monitoring systems across Europe.
