The Advocacy School by ANTS has opened applications for a comprehensive educational program designed to help activists, community leaders, and cultural professionals strengthen their advocacy skills and bring meaningful change to their communities. The program is aimed at those who want not only to discuss social transformation but also to make it happen — effectively, sustainably, and with measurable results.
About the Program
The Advocacy School by ANTS is an intensive course that combines lectures, teamwork, mentoring, and practical exercises led by experienced experts in advocacy, communications, and civic leadership. Participants will learn how the decision-making process functions at different levels of government, how to analyze policies, and how to build effective influence strategies. Furthermore, the program teaches how to communicate with stakeholders, engage the public, and use media tools to promote civic initiatives.
The course emphasizes a hands-on approach. Each participant will develop their own advocacy project, working under the supervision of mentors who will guide them through every stage — from concept to implementation. As a result, participants gain real experience in team collaboration, strategic planning, and leadership. In addition, they will improve their public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
Who Can Apply
The program is open to young leaders, cultural professionals, NGO representatives, community activists, and members of youth councils. It will be valuable both for those who are just starting their civic journey and for experienced change-makers seeking to expand their impact. Thanks to its combination of learning, practice, and networking, the program allows participants not only to gain knowledge but also to build long-term professional connections and partnerships.
What Participants Will Gain
During the training, participants will join workshops on public speaking, strategic thinking, media literacy, and policy analysis. They will also work on real advocacy cases, propose their own solutions, and receive feedback from mentors. This balance between theory and practice ensures that participants can immediately apply their skills in real-life contexts.
Moreover, the program encourages collaboration and peer learning. Participants will exchange experiences, create joint initiatives, and develop advocacy campaigns that strengthen their local communities. The most outstanding graduates will have a chance to take part in a study visit to Europe, where they will present their advocacy projects, meet European civic organizations, and learn from international examples of effective advocacy.
How to Apply
To apply, candidates should complete the online application form on the official ANTS website. The application must include a brief description of the applicant’s experience, motivation, and the concept of their advocacy project. The deadline for submissions is November 7, 2025. Early submission is recommended, as it allows applicants to refine their materials and consult with mentors. The selection process will prioritize motivation, leadership potential, and readiness for teamwork.
