Grant up to €300,000 for AI and Robotics in Green Industry — ROB4GREEN

The ROB4GREEN project (Horizon Europe, grant No. 101189665) funds consortia developing and piloting solutions for dismantling, remanufacturing and recycling using AI and robotics. Specifically, the total open call budget is €2.4 million across 8 selected projects. Consequently, each awarded consortium receives up to €300,000 for a 10-month pilot, advancing from TRL 4 to TRL 7. Notably, Ukraine is a Horizon Europe Associated Country, which means Ukrainian organisations may participate on equal terms with EU entities.

GreenChem Accelerator for Green Technology Startups

The GreenChem Accelerator is a free 3-month programme implemented by the Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Centre (RECP Centre, Ukraine) in partnership with UNIDO and the Yale Center for Green Chemistry. Specifically, it supports startups and research teams turning green chemistry ideas into viable business solutions. Participants receive intensive training, personalised mentorship from leading scientists, access to industrial partners for technology testing, and the opportunity to pitch at a Demo Day before investors.

GCIP Ukraine 2.0 Accelerator and Grant up to $20,000 for Climate Innovations

GCIP Ukraine 2.0 is the second phase of the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme led by UNIDO and the Global Environment Facility (GEF), implemented in Ukraine by the NGO Greencubator. Consequently, the programme offers a free 3-month acceleration for cleantech startups and SMEs: expert-led business training, personalised mentoring, market entry support, and grants of up to $20,000 for the most successful teams. Moreover, since 2014 GCIP has supported over 1,650 companies across 17 countries.

Horizon Europe Grant up to €6M for Digital Green Deal Strategies

The HORIZON-CL6-2026-03 call (Destination 7: Innovative governance, environmental observations and digital solutions in support of the Green Deal) funds projects developing digital ecology solutions for implementing Green Deal strategies. In particular, eligible topics include AI solutions for the food sector, bioeconomy networks, environmental data management, and open innovation platforms. Multi-actor consortia involving SMEs, researchers and the public sector are prioritised. As a Horizon Europe Associated Country, Ukraine is fully eligible on equal terms with EU partners.

Ray of Hope Accelerator and Grant up to $15,000 for Ecology Startups

The Ray of Hope Accelerator by the Biomimicry Institute is a global 6-month programme supporting startups that develop solutions inspired by nature (biomimicry). Additionally, it includes topics such as bio-inspired materials, renewable energy and circular manufacturing. Ten selected teams each receive $15,000 in non-dilutive funding, over $50,000 worth of advisory services, an immersive Nature Retreat in the United States, and access to a global investor network. Importantly, the programme is open to startups from any country.

Urban Future Prize: Grant up to $50,000 for ClimateTech and Ecology Startups

The Urban Future Prize Competition is an annual initiative by the Urban Future Lab (NYU Tandon School of Engineering). In 2026 it introduces two distinct tracks for the first time: the Climate Mitigation Prize and the Climate Adaptation Prize. As a result, two winners — one per track — each receive a $50,000 cash prize and admission to the ACRE Incubator, New York’s longest-running climatech programme. Additionally, runner-up teams in each track receive $10,000 prizes.
