The Culture Helps Solidarity initiative has launched a grant call for international cooperation projects. The programme operates within the framework of Creative Europe and is implemented by the European Cultural Foundation (Amsterdam) in partnership with Insha Osvita (Kyiv), zusa (Berlin) and the VETERANKA movement (Kyiv).
The initiative supports cross-border collaboration in the cultural sector and promotes solidarity through artistic and cultural practices. In particular, the call funds partnership-based projects that combine international exchange with responses to pressing social challenges.
Objectives of the call Culture Helps Solidarity
- strengthen international networking and partnerships within the Creative Europe framework;
- enhance intercultural dialogue and exchange of professional practices;
- support mental health through cultural and artistic formats;
- advance the professional development of cultural managers in line with EU standards.
Projects must address socially relevant themes. These include support for internally displaced persons and migrants, as well as the reintegration of women and men veterans.
Eligibility
Applicants must form a consortium that includes organisations from at least two Creative Europe countries and Ukraine. Therefore, partnership is a mandatory requirement for participation.
Funding
Grant amount: €20,000 to €30,000;
Co-financing: applicants are encouraged to provide approximately 20% own contribution.
Deadline
Application deadline: 31 March 2026.
