First Call for Individual Grants under “Culture Helps Solidarity”

First Call for Individual Grants under “Culture Helps Solidarity”

The programme “Culture Helps Solidarity” has opened its first call for individual grants. This opportunity offers up to EUR 1,200 for psychological recovery for cultural professionals and activists. In addition, it targets those who support people affected by forced displacement and/or returning from military service, and who help them (re)integrate into new communities.

The grant focuses on personal well-being, so applicants can invest in their own recovery. For example, they can use the funding for psychotherapy or retreats. Moreover, they can cover visits to museums and theatres, art-therapy activities, workshops, and other restorative cultural or psychological practices.

Because cultural workers and activists often carry a heavy emotional load, this call supports those who provide care, solidarity, and integration support to others. At the same time, it encourages them to prioritise their own resilience.

Funding and deadline

Grant amount: up to EUR 1,200 per individual;

Application deadline: 23 February 2026, 13:00 (CET) / 14:00 (Kyiv time).
