The application period for the Jean Monnet actions under the Erasmus+ programme is coming to an end. The final deadline for submitting project proposals is 3 February 2026 at 17:00 Brussels time. Therefore, higher education institutions and organisations are strongly encouraged to finalise and submit their applications without delay.
The Jean Monnet strand focuses on strengthening teaching, research and public debate in the field of European integration. In particular, it supports initiatives that promote knowledge about the European Union, its policies and values, while also fostering academic dialogue and engagement with wider society.

Centres of Excellence – interdisciplinary hubs that combine teaching, research and outreach activities related to the European Union.
Who can apply
Applications are open to higher education institutions, research bodies and other organisations active in education or analysis related to European integration. In addition, applicants must demonstrate the academic relevance and sustainability of the proposed activities.
