Non-profit non-governmental organisations can apply for funding to create rehabilitation camps, campsites and retreats, including for families of veterans.
In Ukraine, the Representation of the International Solidarity Fund has launched an open grant competition to support such initiatives in 2026. The competition aims to support recovery and provide psychosocial assistance to children and families affected by the war.
Specifically, the programme supports the following target groups:
- families of veterans, women veterans and military personnel;
- families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine;
- families of prisoners of war or persons missing in action.
Eligible initiatives
Project applications must combine psychosocial rehabilitation with non-formal education. In particular, applicants can propose the following formats:
- retreats;
- recreational and rehabilitation camps;
- camps during the school year for school classes and teachers who study online due to the war;
- family camps for families of veterans, with joint recreation for parents and children.
