Grant call – ECCCH Cascading Grants for museums, cultural organisations and networks

Grant call – ECCCH Cascading Grants for museums, cultural organisations and networks

The European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) has launched a new round of Cascading Grants aimed at strengthening the digital capacity of the cultural heritage sector across Europe.

The funding supports projects that help museums and cultural organisations improve digital skills, foster collaboration, and gain practical access to cloud-based tools. In addition, the programme seeks to enhance the overall digital readiness of the cultural heritage ecosystem.

The call primarily targets networks and umbrella organisations, such as museum associations, cultural coalitions and sectoral alliances. As a result, it is particularly relevant for small and medium-sized institutions that face challenges in implementing digital innovation independently or pooling resources.

Supported activities may include:

  • online and offline workshops, webinars and training courses;
  • development of educational and training materials;
  • information events on the benefits and use of the ECCCH;
  • sectoral research, mapping and surveys;
  • help desks or advisory support for organisations joining the heritage cloud;
  • creative formats such as hackathons or co-design sessions.

The grants aim to strengthen cooperation within the cultural heritage sector while enabling wider access to digital infrastructure and shared knowledge. Therefore, projects with a clear multiplier effect and cross-organisational reach are especially encouraged.

Grant size: up to €29,800 per project.

Deadline: 30 January 2026.
