The AGRO-WELL project, implemented under the Horizon Europe Programme, has launched an open call to support innovative technologies in the field of smart farming. The initiative aims to promote AI-driven, robotic, AR-based, and sensor-supported solutions that enhance workplace safety, optimise farm management, reduce physical workload, and strengthen the sustainability of agricultural operations.
Programme Overview
AGRO-WELL focuses on practical technologies that can be tested directly in real farming environments, including greenhouses, open fields, and pig farms. The programme supports ready-to-deploy innovations capable of improving day-to-day operations, assisting workers in repetitive tasks, and contributing to the digital transformation of the agricultural sector.
The call is open to startups, SMEs, research institutions, NGOs, and farming organisations from Horizon Europe-associated countries, including Ukraine. Applicants must demonstrate tangible benefits for farmers, clear testing plans, and strong potential for scaling across Europe.
What the Programme Supports
