Programme Overview

On 25 June 2025, the RIS Education call was officially launched under the EIT Urban Mobility programme. The initiative supports innovative educational activities focused on developing skills in urban mobility, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

This call targets projects that align with the overall RIS Education strategy: delivering high-quality education, reaching broad audiences, creating long-term impact, and gaining broad recognition across the sector.

Programme Goals

RIS Education aims to build capacity in innovation and entrepreneurship through education in the field of urban mobility. Selected activities should focus on the development of transferable skills that can support long-term innovation and business development in Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) countries.

Priority Areas

– Capacity building: training of trainers, workshops to enhance innovation and entrepreneurial skills, co-creation programmes
– Educational and training activities with a focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, and urban mobility
– Summer and winter schools for undergraduate students
– Scaling local initiatives to broader audiences and regional impact
– Building networks with education stakeholders

Who Can Apply

The call is open to:
– Organisations from EU countries or Horizon Europe countries (including Ukraine)
– Individual applicants or consortia
– Projects must include participants from multiple countries
– Proposals must be international, regionally adapted, and scalable

– Total call budget: €1,250,000
